if the connection information is correct and the connection is successful, the connect button will become enabled. click the connect button to connect to the citect scada hmi. if you are connecting to the citect hmi over the lan, a message will appear indicating that the connection was successful.if the connection fails, the message will display the connection information.

enter the server name (for remote citect), user name and password, click on test connection. if you receive connection unavailable, follow the citect connection troubleshooting steps. if everything is ok, a scada connection succeeded message will be displayed.

enter into the citect server, either by server name (for remote citect) or by using the user and password screen. select the correct database by clicking on the database tree button above the tables list (for remote citect).
